Graham County TO WELCOME THE AMERICAN MARCH 29-APRIL 7, 2008
TRIBUTE TO INCLUDE The Tribute's centerpieces is the largest replica ever built of the Vietnam Veterans Wall. The original, which stands in Washington, holds over 58,000 names of those who gave their lives in Vietnam and South Asia. The Wall stands 8 feet high at the center and 370 feet long. It comes in 35 panels each 5 feet wide. Along with the Wall, there will also be an exhibit called the Vietnam Remembered Art Collection by Norm Bergsma, he is now working on another addition to the collection called "Walk of Heros", honoring firefighters, policemen, women and others who put their lives at risk for us to preserve our freedom. Visitors to the Wall will be able to find any name they are looking for very easily. Support merchandise and art prints will be available to the public.
